HOOKS

OUR HOOKS ARE CONSTRUCTED TO WITHSTAND THE RIGORS OF "THE JOB"! MOST OF OUR HOOKS ARE CONSTRUCTED IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:

- We offer our super strength solid fiberglass pole. End bent or broken poles forever.

- Stainless steel wear sleeves are drawn over the fiberglass pole at each end of the hook for increased strength and durability.

- Celtex grip gives the user a positive no-slip shock absorbing grip.

- We weld all component parts, head and shut-off to stainless steel sleeves.

- Electrically non-conductive.

ONE OF OUR MOST POPULAR PRODUCTS

A Message from Bob Farrell
Captain, FDNY and CEO of Fire Hooks Unlimited

We are the original developers of the New York Roof Hook. If it doesn't say "Fire Hooks Unlimited" - aka "FARRELL HOOK" on the head, it is a copycat product not meeting the spec's of the Fire Department City of New York (FDNY).

Our hook has been around for over 25 years of successful service as the "official" hook of the FDNY. Developed by the experience of over 20 years of service in the busiest fire houses in the FDNY, if not the world, during the 1960's and 1970's (the War Years).

We participated in the development of this tool with the New York City Fire Department - Research and Development Division.

Our all-purpose head, aircraft steel shaft, chisel end, and celtex grips makes up this unit.

The chisel end is used as a prying tool for scuttle hatches and roof doors. The short lengths are good for going up fire escapes and scuttles to the roof. Accept only aircraft steel for lightweight, but strong tool.

Can also be ordered in fiberglass. SPECIFY. Ring added to chisel end is $10.00 extra. Comes in 3', 4', 5', 6', 8, 10'

THE TRI-TWISTER HOOKS

Lengths 10', 12' AND 14'
Lengths of solid fiberglass that can be shipped by UPS. Joined together by a unique feature of heavy threaded stainless steel with a thick wall. You can join these sections together by simply twisting the top unit to the bottom unit, making the unit ULTRA STRONG, but yet functional. The top unit can be used as a 6' Hook for normal firefighting use. When high ceilings use is needed, the bottom section is attached. The last feature used is the perminent attachment, which is simply gluing the parts together to form one solid piece.

ANY HEAD, EXCEPT THE NEW YORKER, IS AVAILABLE AND CAN BE PUT ON THE TRI-TWISTER AT YOUR REQUEST. PLEASE ADVISE OF HEAD MODEL.
